Immortal Diaries: Rare and Talented Followers. The best?
You definitely spotted some Followers which look like Celebrities among others. You would love to invite them to your team or party 😀 You can! You are the rising star yourself so everything is possible! Your team may consist of 6 types of Followers:
- main Followers
- rare Followers
- talented Followers
- VIP Followers
- exclusive Followers
- Followers from special Events
Main Followers you get by gaining EXP and moving along Queens Path. Read more about them in “Beginners Guide: Followers“. The last two types of Followers I personally haven’t seen in game yet. Hopefully, we will get them at some point <3 VIP Followers accompany you if you spend real money and reach required vip levels (more about them “VIP Followers. Affordable?“).
Rare and talented Followers are free, harder to get but possible (!) if you take place in:
- Alliance Contest, some other Contests
- Cross-server Contest
These Contests pop up from time to time and aren’t so rare. Cross-server contest is the Contest like ones you used to and already regularly enter. The difference make the larger crowd you competing against because your server will be one of four (or so) joining this Contest at the same time. And yes, people get very competitive! In Alliance Contest one alliance competes against others (limited to your own server).
Rare Followers
Why do you want them? Because they have strong Force ability (7-9 stars) and help you to pass story Stages, beat final bosses at the end of each Chapter, help your Alliance level up faster and unlock those rare items, you perform better in Debates. These followers offer the same Force ability as only 3 your main Followers originally: Morgan, Lillian, Lynn. Oh, you definitely know at least one of them! Moreover, you will get only 2 stronger than those on your Queen’s Path and one of them will be the last follower you get at the very end. Yeah… long way to go, so let’s look for help now.
If you want any of them, you may want to join an Alliance if you aren’t in one yet. Depending on Alliance you chose, together with your Alliance mates you may have better chances to win higher place in Contest. Your target is Followers Hearts. Participating in Alliance Contest isn’t the only way to get them. Followers’ Hearts pop up in some other Contests and you can get them if you stay in Top50.
When you collect 10 hearts, go to Contest Shop and tap the bottom of you screen on Human symbol between Dress and Dog.
Followers in Shop rotate daily but eventually you will see all 8 of them. Boys’ Influence is 220 and girls have slightly higher (230). All of them have 2 boosted abilities. For boys it will be Force and Social ability, so having one of them will help you beat bosses plus coins collecting will become easier. Girls have Force equal (and some of them higher) to boys, plus boosted Creation ability.
Gavin (man dressed all in brown) and Brenda (woman dressed in jeans) have the highest Force ability (9 stars).
Both guys in a picture bottom have highest Social ability (8 stars). If you strive for more coins, they may be the right ones for you. Aaaa, which one of those two?! 😀 My choice would be Luke (the one in green, bottom right).
If you have trouble to create energy, your right pick would be Brenda (10 stars).
All of them are nice to have because they join your forces and make you stronger (total ability: 22-23).
Talented Followers
Why you may want them? For the same reason you may want Rare Followers, just those ones are even better! Talented Followers have a Talent and their Force is almost twice bigger than force of rare followers. Sounds appealing? 😀
Cross-Server Contest is not a joke. Your alone capabilities will be tested against players in your AND in a few more servers. Servers joining this Contest will have players at similar level to yours, so don’t be frightened to join 😀 It’s a fun place to hang out (oh, yes! You will have cross-server chat open during this time!) and test your skills.
However, your main target here will be blue Essence of Talent. Rarely they also pop up at some special Event (we had only 1 so far).
You will need 15 of them to be able to get one of 6 talented Followers in Contest Shop:
All of them have the same TALENT: they boost your Force and Creation by 5%. Sounds great? yeah, I agree!
Each of them brings 400 Influence and 2 strong abilities: Force (14-16 stars) and Creation (14-16 stars).
Ahhh, so which one is the best? You can afford only one for 10 Essences. Which one should it be? If you seek for more Force (16 stars), you might want to own Aspen (the one in red hood) or Candice (the one with butterflies). If you are in need for more Creation (16 stars), the right choice might be Ingrid (lady warrior) or Liam (man with crow). If you desperate for Coins, Candice or Liam would be good call.
Will you get anything like that among main Followers? No. The closest Follower will be Gemma which you get at the peerage of Elder I. She will be the last one you get and will have 18 Force stars. Lara you unlock at peerage of Sovereign I and she will hold the highest 10 stars of Creation for main Follower.
Are you sad, you can’t get them easier and quicker? I’m sure you worked hard by training and boosting your Followers, so among those you already own there is definitely at least one (I believe, more) similarly strong or even greater! So Talented Followers come as a nice asset because they are already boosted and give you great kick off saving your time and resources.
